Panser Mini Tanpa Awak Kreasi STTAL

Bentuknya terbilang unik, bahkan beberapa orang menyebut ranpur ini terlihat culun. Ya, inilah Panser Mini Tanpa Awak kreasi siswa dari STTAL (Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Angkatan Laut). Wahana tanpa awak yang dioperasikan lewat remote control ini ikut di pamerkan dalam ajang Indo Defence 2014 di JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Panser Mini Tanpa Awak ini dirancang untuk misi serbuan dalam operasi tempur terbatas, seperti penanggulan terorisme.
Untuk melumatkan sasaran, wahana ini dibekali senapan mesin FN GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) kaliber 7,62 mm. Menurut staf STTAL, senjata dapat dioperasikan secara remote (RCWS) lewat kendali yang di monitor dari perangkat semacam laptop. Sayangnya, bekal amunisi yang dibawa terbatas, hanya satu box magasin berkapasitas 100 peluru, untuk penggantian (reload) amunisi dilakukan secara manual.

Tenaga penggerak panser ini menggunakan mesin dari sepeda motor 2 tak. Radius operasi/kendali panser ini maksimum 1 Km. Meski di ranpur yang bentuk lebih mirip ‘mainan’ ini terpasang tulisan Marinir dan Kopaska, namun tidak ada bekal kemampuan amfibi dan lapis baja yang disertakan. Namanya juga prototipe, masih kurang di sana sini adalah wajar, yang lebih penting kreativitas terus dipacu. (HANS)
